Create membership plans

Create paid membership plans that give customers access to downloads, discounts, VIP Early Access, and Private Drops.

Create membership plans

Membership plans let you sell recurring access to your beat store.

With Banaslap Studio, you can create member-only offers such as monthly download credits, discounts, VIP Early Access, Private Drops, or exclusive content access.

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • installed Banaslap Studio;
  • activated your Banaslap Studio license;
  • connected Stripe if you want to sell paid memberships;
  • uploaded beats to your store;
  • decided what members should receive.

What a membership plan can include

Depending on your setup, a membership plan can include:

  • monthly download access;
  • access to selected file types;
  • member discounts;
  • VIP Early Access;
  • Private Drops;
  • access to member-only beats;
  • customer dashboard access;
  • download limits or quotas.

Start simple. You can always expand your membership offer later.

Step 1: Open membership settings

In your WordPress admin, open **Banaslap OS**.

Go to the section where membership plans are managed.

This is where you create, edit, enable, or disable membership plans.

Step 2: Create a new plan

Create a new membership plan and give it a clear name.

Examples:

  • Producer Club
  • VIP Access
  • Studio Vault
  • Monthly Downloads
  • Private Drop Pass

Use a name that clearly explains the value of the plan.

Step 3: Set the price and billing period

Choose the membership price and billing period.

Common examples:

  • monthly membership;
  • yearly membership;
  • premium monthly access;
  • limited private access.

Keep the pricing simple and easy to understand.

Step 4: Define member benefits

Choose what customers receive when they join the plan.

Examples:

  • number of downloads per month;
  • allowed file types;
  • discount percentage;
  • access to VIP Early Access;
  • access to Private Drops;
  • access to selected beats only.

Make sure the benefits are clear before publishing the plan.

Step 5: Configure download access

If your plan includes downloads, define how many downloads members can use and which files they can access.

For example:

  • MP3 only;
  • MP3 + WAV;
  • MP3 + WAV + stems;
  • selected beats only;
  • monthly download quota.

Clear download rules help avoid customer confusion.

Step 6: Enable VIP Early Access if needed

VIP Early Access lets selected members access beats before the public release.

Enable it only if your plan should give members early access to upcoming releases.

Step 7: Enable Private Drops if needed

Private Drops let you release selected beats to specific membership plans.

Enable this only for plans that should access private or limited drops.

Step 8: Publish the membership plan

Review the plan name, price, billing period, benefits, download rules, and access settings.

Then publish or enable the plan.

Step 9: Test the member experience

Before promoting the membership publicly:

  1. Open the membership offer.
  2. Check the price and benefits.
  3. Start the checkout flow.
  4. Confirm Stripe opens correctly.
  5. Check that the member dashboard shows the plan.
  6. Confirm the correct downloads, discounts, or access rules are applied.

Best practices

Keep your first membership plan simple.

A strong starting point is:

  • one clear monthly plan;
  • simple download benefits;
  • one discount;
  • VIP Early Access or Private Drops only if you already plan to use them.

Avoid creating too many plans at the beginning.

Troubleshooting

The membership plan does not appear

Check that the plan is enabled or published.

Stripe checkout does not open

Make sure Stripe is connected and your license is active.

Members cannot access downloads

Check the plan download rules, file types, and quota settings.

Private Drops are not visible to members

Make sure Private Drops are enabled for the correct membership plan and that the beat is assigned to that plan.

VIP Early Access is not working

Check that the beat is configured for early access and that the member belongs to a plan with early access enabled.
