Install Banaslap Studio

Learn how to install the Banaslap Studio WordPress plugin on your website and prepare your beat store for activation.

Install Banaslap Studio

Banaslap Studio is a premium WordPress plugin for producers and beatmakers who want to sell beats, manage licenses, accept payments, offer memberships, and give customers a professional buying experience directly from their own website.

This guide explains how to install the plugin on your WordPress site and how to display your beat store using the Banaslap Studio shortcode or the automatic page generation tool.

Before you start

Before installing Banaslap Studio, make sure you have:

  • a WordPress website;
  • administrator access to your WordPress dashboard;
  • an active Banaslap Studio license;
  • your Banaslap account login;
  • a Stripe account if you want to accept online payments.

Banaslap Studio is installed on the beatmaker’s own WordPress site. Banaslap Website is the central SaaS account, license, pricing, and documentation platform.

Step 1: Download the plugin ZIP

Log in to your Banaslap account and go to your account dashboard.

From there, download the latest Banaslap Studio plugin ZIP file.

Do not unzip the plugin on your computer. WordPress expects the plugin to be uploaded as a `.zip` file.

Step 2: Upload the plugin to WordPress

In your WordPress admin dashboard:

  1. Go to Plugins.
  2. Click Add New.
  3. Click Upload Plugin.
  4. Select the Banaslap Studio ZIP file.
  5. Click Install Now.
  6. Click Activate Plugin.

After activation, Banaslap Studio will add its own admin pages inside WordPress.

Step 3: Activate your license

After installing the plugin, open the Banaslap Studio license screen in your WordPress admin.

Enter your Banaslap Studio license key and activate it.

The license connects your WordPress site to your Banaslap account and unlocks the features included in your plan.

Step 4: Check your plugin status

Once the license is active, Banaslap Studio will show your current plan, connected site, license status, and available capabilities.

If your plan is Starter, your store features are available but some advanced analytics are restricted.

If your plan is Pro, the full analytics experience is unlocked and Banaslap commercial commission is 0% on beat and membership sales. A 1% service fee applies per successful transaction, excluding Stripe processing fees.

Step 5: Create or generate your store pages

Banaslap Studio does not require you to use a fixed page structure.

You can choose where the beat store appears on your WordPress site.

There are two ways to create the required pages.

Option 1: Create pages manually

You can create your own WordPress pages manually and place the Banaslap Studio shortcodes wherever you want.

To display the beat store, create or edit a WordPress page and paste this shortcode into the content area:

[banaslap-studio]

This shortcode displays the Banaslap Studio beat store on the page where it is placed.

For example, you can create a page called:

  • Beats;
  • Store;
  • Beat Store;
  • Catalog;
  • Shop Beats.

Then paste:

[banaslap-studio]

Publish the page and open it on the frontend to verify that your beat store appears correctly.

Option 2: Generate pages automatically

You can also generate the recommended pages automatically from the plugin settings.

In your WordPress dashboard, open:

Banaslap OS → Settings

Then use the page generation option to create the default Banaslap Studio pages.

This is useful if you want a faster setup or if you prefer Banaslap Studio to create the basic page structure for you.

After generating the pages, review them and adjust titles, URLs, menus, and layout as needed.

Step 6: Add your store page to your menu

After creating or generating the store page, add it to your WordPress navigation menu.

In WordPress:

  1. Go to Appearance.
  2. Open Menus or Editor, depending on your theme.
  3. Add the page containing `[banaslap-studio]`.
  4. Save your menu.

This makes the beat store accessible from your website navigation.

Step 7: Continue setup

After installation, the recommended setup order is:

  1. Activate your license.
  2. Create or generate your store pages.
  3. Add `[banaslap-studio]` where you want the beat store to appear.
  4. Connect Stripe.
  5. Upload your first beat.
  6. Configure license options.
  7. Configure downloadable files.
  8. Set up memberships if needed.
  9. Test the customer checkout experience.

Testing the store page

After adding the shortcode or generating the pages, open the public page where the store should appear.

Check that:

  • the beat store loads correctly;
  • the player appears;
  • beats are displayed if you have published beats;
  • license options open correctly;
  • the page works on desktop and mobile;
  • your theme does not hide or break the store layout.

If no beats appear, make sure at least one beat is published.

Troubleshooting

If the plugin does not install, check that:

  • the file you uploaded is the original plugin ZIP;
  • your WordPress user has administrator permissions;
  • your server allows plugin uploads;
  • your WordPress installation is not blocking ZIP uploads.

If the beat store does not appear, check that:

  • the shortcode is written exactly as `[banaslap-studio]`;
  • the page is published;
  • Banaslap Studio is activated;
  • your license is active;
  • at least one beat is published;
  • your WordPress theme is not blocking shortcode rendering.

If the generated pages do not appear, check the page generation settings inside:

Banaslap OS → Settings

If activation fails, read the license activation documentation.
